1989 – MCC Lands End Trial My first involvement in a properly organised motorsport event. Three of us pooled together a total of £75 to buy a Vauxhall Viva which we entered into the event. From memory there were 18 ‘sections’ and we failed them all.
1990-1991 – Various Forest and Tarmac Rallies Starting with 1990 Kent Forestry Stages, Breckland Forest Rally and numerous other events at Snetterton, Goodwood and Longcross – all in a Group A Trophy spec Skoda Estelle. Included some co-driving, shared with Steve Morgan.
1992 – Shell Skoda Trophy Finished 2^nd overall in the championship, best result being 1^st in Class A1 on the Midland International rally in North Wales, won by Colin McRae. Co-driven by Steve Morgan.
1993-1994 – Shell Skoda Trophy Several top 3 finished, this time as a co-driver for Charles Hutchinson using maps and pace notes depending on the event.
1994 – The Philips Tour of Mull 180 stage miles around the notorious single track roads of the Scottish Island, driving a Talbot Sunbeam Ti. Finished 80^th overall, co-driven by Paul Bartlett.
1995-1996 – Various Stage Rallies Various stage rallies in the Talbot across the South of England including Tempest Stages, Kent Forestry Stages and tarmac events at Snetterton, Goodwood and Longcross. Co-driven by Paul Bartlett and Ian Bradbury.
1996-1997 – Rally Co-Driver Co-driving for Ian Bradbury in a Group A Vauxhall Nova GTE in the BTRDA Silver championship.
2000 – 2007 – Classic Group One Touring Cars Numerous class wins at Oulton Park, Mallory Park, Thruxton and Snetterton, new lap records at Oulton Park and Thruxton. First in class in 2000 Birkett 6 hour relay, Snetterton.
2009 onwards – Daytona D60 Karting A 1hr endurance race championship based at Sandown Park. Back to back champion, Winter 2011 and Summer 2011 D60 Lights.
